In 2006, Czechia's passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine increased by 3.8% compared to 2005, reaching 4,109,000.

Czechia ranks 11th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.4% (from 3,529,800 in 2001).
