In 2005, Czechia's passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine increased by 3.7% compared to 2004, reaching 3,959,000.

Czechia ranks 10th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.1% (from 3,438,900 in 2000).
