Environmental tax revenues as share of total taxes

In 2024, Czechia's environmental tax revenues as share of total taxes decreased by 6.5% compared to 2023, reaching 1.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 2.1%.

Czechia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 27.5% (from 2.0% in 2019).
