In 2024, Czechia's relative median poverty risk gap of elderly people decreased by 5.0% compared to 2023, reaching 9.60.

Czechia accounts for 54.5% of the EU-27 total of 17.6.

Czechia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.1% (from 10.8 in 2019).
