In 2017, Denmark's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 15.1% compared to 2016, reaching 61.

Denmark ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 41.9% (from 43 in 2012).
