In 2016, Denmark's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 1.9% compared to 2015, reaching 53.

Denmark ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.2% (from 49 in 2011).
