In 2016, Estonia's share of total population living in a dwelling with a leaking roof, damp walls, floors or foundation, or rot in window frames of floor increased by 3.7% compared to 2015, reaching 13.9.

Estonia ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 27.6% (from 19.2 in 2011).
