Median of the housing cost burden distribution by poverty status - EU-SILC survey

In 2021, Estonia's median of the housing cost burden distribution by poverty status increased by 2.1% compared to 2020, reaching 9.90.

Estonia accounts for 70.2% of the EU-27 total of 14.1.

Estonia ranks 21st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.2% (from 10.9 in 2016).
