In 2016, Finland's share of total population living in a dwelling with a leaking roof, damp walls, floors or foundation, or rot in window frames of floor increased by 6.8% compared to 2015, reaching 4.70.

Finland ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 17.5% (from 5.70 in 2011).
