In 2021, France's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 14.8% compared to 2020, reaching 15,513.

France ranks 3rd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 47.1% (from 10,549 in 2016).
