Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2010, France's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 1.6% compared to 2009, reaching 62.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 70.7%.

France ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.3% (from 61.8% in 2005).
