In 2021, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households without dependent children by work intensity increased by 10.8% compared to 2020, reaching 49.2.

France accounts for 90.9% of the EU-27 total of 54.1.

France ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.4% (from 45.4 in 2016).
