At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2013, Germany's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 2012, reaching 15.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.3%.

Germany ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.6% (from 14.2% in 2008).
