In 2019, Germany's median relative income of elderly people (60+) increased by 1.2% compared to 2018, reaching 0.86.

Germany accounts for 91.5% of the EU-27 total of 0.94.

Germany ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.4% (from 0.89 in 2014).
