Income inequality for older people - EU-SILC survey

In 2022, Germany's income inequality for older people decreased by 9.9% compared to 2021, reaching 7.82.

Germany accounts for 95.6% of the EU-27 total of 8.18.

Germany ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.6% (from 7.70 in 2017).
