In 2023, Greece's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 3.5% compared to 2022, reaching 68,659.

Greece ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 14.6% (from 80,351 in 2018).
