At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.8% compared to 2009, reaching 12.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.5%.

Hungary ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 8.9% (from 13.5% in 2005).
