At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2013, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.6% compared to 2012, reaching 14.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.3%.

Hungary ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.9% (from 12.4% in 2008).
