In 2013, Hungary's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 22.1% compared to 2012, reaching 138.

Hungary ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.1% (from 147 in 2008).
