In 2014, Hungary's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 6.5% compared to 2013, reaching 129.

Hungary ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.2% (from 139 in 2009).
