In 2024, Hungary's at-risk-of poverty rate by tenure status increased by 3.6% compared to 2023, reaching 14.3.

Hungary accounts for 88.3% of the EU-27 total of 16.2.

Hungary ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 14.0 in 2019).
