At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2015, Ireland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 14.4% compared to 2014, reaching 13.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.7%.

Ireland ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 36.4% (from 9.9% in 2010).
