Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2010, Ireland's employment rates by educational attainment level decreased by 1.5% compared to 2009, reaching 81.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 83.6%.

Ireland ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.5% (from 86.8% in 2005).
