Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2014, Ireland's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.4% compared to 2013, reaching 81.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 83.3%.

Ireland ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.6% (from 82.4% in 2009).
