Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2016, Ireland's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.5% compared to 2015, reaching 82.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 84.7%.

Ireland ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.6% (from 80.8% in 2011).
