Ireland accounts for 78.4% of the EU-27 total of 32.4.

Ireland ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.2% (from 26.8 in 2019).
