In 2020, Ireland's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households without dependent children by work intensity decreased by 11.6% compared to 2019, reaching 43.6.

Ireland accounts for 78.4% of the EU-27 total of 55.6.

Ireland ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 14.8% (from 51.2 in 2015).
