In 2021, Ireland's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households with at least one dependent child by work intensity decreased by 18.6% compared to 2020, reaching 43.0.

Ireland accounts for 61.5% of the EU-27 total of 69.9.

Ireland ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 36.2% (from 67.4 in 2016).
