At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2013, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.0% compared to 2012, reaching 19.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.8%.

Italy ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 18.9% in 2008).
