Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2007, Italy's early leavers from education and training by labour status decreased by 4.4% compared to 2006, reaching 19.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.7%.

Italy ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 19.4% (from 24.2% in 2002).
