Employment rates by citizenship

In 2014, Italy's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.6% compared to 2013, reaching 46.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 58.5%.

Italy ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.9% (from 46.4% in 2009).
