In 2025, Italy's level of internet access increased by 0.8% compared to 2024, reaching 94.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 94.7%.

Italy ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.8% (from 88.1% in 2020).
