Employment rates by citizenship

In 2005, Latvia's employment rates by citizenship increased by 3.9% compared to 2004, reaching 58.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 54.6%.

Latvia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.2% (from 53.3% in 2000).
