Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2017, Latvia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 7.7% compared to 2016, reaching 70.

Latvia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 27.8% (from 97 in 2012).
