In 2024, Latvia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 2.3% compared to 2023, reaching 45.

Latvia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.1% (from 42 in 2019).
