Prison population (juveniles)

In 2016, Latvia's prison population (juveniles) increased by 2.4% compared to 2015, reaching 43.

Latvia ranks 15th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 36.8% (from 68 in 2011).
