At-risk-of poverty rate for children (aged less than 18) by sex

In 2014, Latvia's at-risk-of poverty rate for children (aged less than 18) by sex increased by 3.8% compared to 2013, reaching 72.9.

Latvia accounts for 113.6% of the EU-27 total of 64.2.

Latvia ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.6% (from 78.9 in 2009).
