At-risk-of poverty rate for children (aged less than 18) by sex

In 2021, Latvia's at-risk-of poverty rate for children (aged less than 18) by sex increased by 7.0% compared to 2020, reaching 50.7.

Latvia accounts for 86.2% of the EU-27 total of 58.8.

Latvia ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.1% (from 55.8 in 2016).
