In 2020, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty threshold for a single household increased by 2.8% compared to 2019, reaching 6,803.

Latvia ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 36.4% (from 4,987 in 2015).
