In 2018, Latvia's share of total population living in a dwelling with a leaking roof, damp walls, floors or foundation, or rot in window frames of floor increased by 3.1% compared to 2017, reaching 23.5.

Latvia ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 15.2% (from 27.7 in 2013).
