Median of the housing cost burden distribution by poverty status - EU-SILC survey

In 2021, Latvia's median of the housing cost burden distribution by poverty status increased by 1.9% compared to 2020, reaching 11.0.

Latvia accounts for 78.0% of the EU-27 total of 14.1.

Latvia ranks 17th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 14.7% (from 12.9 in 2016).
