In 2018, Latvia's net occupancy rate of bed-places and bedrooms in hotels and similar accommodation (NACE rev. 2, i, 55.1) (from 2012 onwards) increased by 10.1% compared to 2017, reaching 43.6.

Latvia accounts for 87.6% of the EU-27 total of 49.8.

Latvia ranks 18th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.4% (from 35.9 in 2013).
