In 2024, Lithuania's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 16.9% compared to 2023, reaching 11,818.

Lithuania ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.4% (from 10,902 in 2019).
