In 2023, Lithuania's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 5.0% compared to 2022, reaching 10,108.

Lithuania ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 21.2% (from 12,833 in 2018).
