General government expenditure by function (COFOG)

In 2007, Lithuania's general government expenditure by function (COFOG) increased by 2.6% compared to 2006, reaching 35.3%.

Lithuania ranks 25th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.6% (from 35.1% in 2002).
