In 2017, Lithuania's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 20.4% compared to 2016, reaching 113.

Lithuania ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 37.6% (from 181 in 2012).
