In 2021, Lithuania's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 29.3% compared to 2020, reaching 70.

Lithuania ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 50.7% (from 142 in 2016).
