In 2020, Lithuania's passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine increased by 4.5% compared to 2019, reaching 1,565,465.

Lithuania ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 25.8% (from 1,244,063 in 2015).
