In 2021, Lithuania's passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine increased by 2.9% compared to 2020, reaching 1,611,143.

Lithuania ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 24.1% (from 1,298,737 in 2016).
