In 2022, Lithuania's passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine increased by 2.4% compared to 2021, reaching 1,650,384.

Lithuania ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.6% (from 1,356,987 in 2017).
